Remember – book early, and update as you better know your numbers! If you’re booking and the system says that it modified your booking, it means that someone else has equipment booked and it’s not available for the pickup-dropoff times you’ve listed. The tool will say which other section has the equipment booked. It may just be a timing issue for their dropoff and your pickup – just call them and work out the transfer of the equipment.
When you are picking up equipment at lockup – ONLY TAKE ITEMS THAT ARE ON YOUR LIST. It is quite likely that someone else has other items booked, and they are expecting them to be there when they show up!
When returning equipment to lockup – ALL damaged equipment needs to be returned to myself for repair. DO NOT just put it back in lockup. Damage needs to be described and “attached” to the equipment (so, if there is more than 1 problem, it can be addressed).
NOTE – On Spalding/Woods tents – missing pegs is not “damage”. Please book a bucket of pegs when using these tents.
Also – On Spalding/Woods tents – The Fly, fly pole, tent and tent poles are all in matched sets. DO NOT mix them up. They have all come from different purchase runs and cannot be interchanged.
We have a locker at Barrhaven Bridlewood Storage, on Moodie, behind the MacEwan's gas station (south of Fallowfield Road).
You will need an access code to open the main gate. See the Group Quartermaster for the code.
You MUST enter our code when you enter AND exit the yard. This code also disables and enables the alarm in our locker. There is a $50 charge (from the storage company) if you don't disable the alarm. So, don't just follow another car in/out of the yard!
